The elements of culture that stand out to me are the fact that the woman had to give birth to the baby without having any medicine or anything to soothe her with. Also, kunta kente had to become a man by going through a series of steps that included wrestling a man and finding a bird that was alive and bringing it back to the village. The importance to society is that without it you will  not learn how to become a man in the society

Story

The story was about how a monkey became unlikely friends with a shark, and shared fruit with the shark. One day the monkey invited the shark to his house and then the shark invited the monkey to his house. Halfway in the water the shark told the monkey that they were actually about to kill the monkey and use its heart. The monkey said he left it in his tree and so they went back to get it. The monkey quickly climbed up the tree and never came down again. It was included because they showed that the good people and the smart people usually prevail over the bad and stupid. That the shark actually fell for that kind of deception. It taught people in Africa not to steal, and also if you deceive someone, then karma will come back to haunt you and you in the end will be deceived. I would learn not to deceive any of my friends so as not to lose the friendship between us

Without the river niger then the agriculture in that area would not be where it is at today. honestly in most cases thats what some people only know what to do so its very important resource. I also thought the black pharoahs were interesting because it showed how powerful traders and kings started in Africa. Great Zimbabwe was another place of interest because of how many people it held back then in its capital. Also the modern Zimbabwe got its name from the Great Zimbabwe

Africa

What comes to mind when i think about africa is about animals such as zebras and lions, also about plenty of land that is wide open and able t be used for cultivating. I also think about culture and all of the different languages that people speak and that make them who they are today. I also think of Nelson Mandela because he was the main reason for South Africa to gain independence so i think he is very important person.

ITs jsut horrible to see the little girl/boy yelling at everyone telling them that they will be a suicide bomber when they grow up, i mean that's just not right because they are supposed to make something positive of their life. It just shows how far corruption can go and how dangerous things can spread so quickly and well

After i saw how the guy was saying that there is no terrorist attack it made me think he was dumb because its as if he did not just see what happened with the twin towers. It also could change the minds of people when giving the muslims jobs such as the plane inspectors where we could be in real danger. In reality,  there is a terrorist situation and we should take notice.

When they said that if you live in a muslim nation and you are not muslim, it made me feel very disgusted because its not fair to people there and it means that they have no freedom at all. I also felt that when the woman was talking about how the muslims came to America learned to fly and thats how they destroyed the World Trade center. It was a true thing that she said, but it is partially our fault for letting them take complete control of a plane

It was really scary how many people have gathered and were chanting bomb US, or bomb Uk, and how people can be so gullible to believe that killing us is the right thing to do. The fact that the guy with only one hand was still trying to plan out a way to murder us and terrorist attacks.

the video of the guy laughing about killing us and about how they should throw us in the fire made me scared, because now they're targeting innocent people around these nations and not just the people that they think are the masterminds of the "destruction" they caused to the muslims

I feel bad for the muslims that are not radical and how they don't have a freedom of speech. Most people here could not even survive without having a freedom of speech because it takes away from their personality, and makes them and entirely knew person
